From deepening understanding of God's word to serving the local community, there's a place for everyone to connect, grow, and make a difference.
Life Group
Our life group is a great place to get to know other people in the church in a deeper way. It is a place where you can explore and dig deeper into God’s word, seeking to apply it to our lives. They are a place where we care and support one another in the ups and downs of life. They are places of hospitality, safety, and community. Some people join us on zoom due to life circumstances, which you’d be welcome to do too.
On the final week in the month, we meet in the church to pray and once or twice a term we gather to share a meal together.

Ministry Teams
A great way to belong to the church family as well as growing in our faith is to get involved by serving. We have lots of ways that you can get involved by becoming part of a ministry team. They range from operating our sound and vision to our practical care team to our youth and children’s team.

Practical Care
Matthew 5:16 – “let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Jesus calls his people to love their neighbour and care for these in need. The early church was known for its sacrificial love and living for others. God has a particular heart for the poor and marginalised as shown throughout the Bible. And so loving and serving our local community is key to who we are as a church.

Prayer
Join us at our monthly prayer meeting on the final Tuesday of the month. 7.30pm in the church for coffee/tea and prayer. Prayer is the “engine room” of all that we do here at St Catharine’s church, so do come along.
