The next prayer meeting will be on Wednesday October 21st in St Catharine's church at 7.30pm. It will be led by Simon Richardson. There is no expectation that if you come along, that you have to pray out aloud. You can simply listen and say your own prayers silently to yourself, or just listen to the prayers of others. God will know your thoughts and needs even if you are silent. Do come along if you are able to. The heating will be on!

Mike and Pat Welsh will be hosting the Home Group again at 6 Linwal Avenue starting on Wednesday October 14th. The focus of these sessions will most often follow the theme from the previous Sunday Sermon. It will not just be a line by line dissection of the scripture. It will look at the major points that struck people. It will attempt to interpret what the scripture meant. Did everyone have a similar interpretation? Sunday October 4th in St Catharine's Church at 10.30am. There will be a full Communion and Harvest Festival service with Tom Devas leading and preaching. Start collecting some tinned and dried foods to bring along which will be donated to our local food bank. Bring a friend. To help with decorating the church, please see Pat Welsh.

Next Wednesday, September 16, Tpm Devas will join us at St Catharine's church for our 9.15am service. He will lead the service and offer us communion. Please join us if you can.

The 30 minute service will be led at 9-15am by Roger Bettles in the church. Do join us for worship, prayers and quiet reflection.

We are happy to announce that in our Vicar Steve's absence, our Wednesday and Sunday services will continue in as near normal a way as possible. Join us this Sunday at 10.30am for our Morning Worship service of songs and hymns that worship God and praise Jesus, as well as prayers for Steve, his family and the wider community. And, of course, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits and Friendship afterwards!
